MOTOROLA ASIA FINANCE LOGO DESIGN CONTEST
EXPLANATION:
The idea behind all of the designs are the same.
Using ancient Chinese coin combining with the existing Motorola logo. A
self-explanatory for Motorola Asian Finance Council.
Design No. 1 and 2 were created in the same design philosophy of the
original Motorola logo which uses 2D graphic simplicity.
The long history of Chinese currency system can certainly represent the
financial status of Asia at its best. This is represented by the ancient
Chinese coin, a round shape with square hole in the middle. It is easily
recognized all over the world as Chinese or Asian money.
The trinity of Motorola logos were added to represent the unity of
success as the council. Triangle which is the essential form of pyramid is
believed to be the most stable geometrical form.
No.3 is the modern concept of design derived from Design No. 1 & 2.
